1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Orbix Containers & Structures website (orbixcontainers.co.za) or placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use the service.

2. Products and Services

Orbix Containers & Structures supplies ISO-certified shipping containers, modular structures, flat-packed container houses, expandable container homes, and container conversion products for sale and hire.

Products sourced from GS Housing Group and Lian Sheng International are manufactured to international standards including ISO 9001. All product specifications are indicative and subject to manufacturing tolerances.

Made-to-order and custom products are manufactured specifically to your requirements. Lead times vary and will be confirmed at the time of order. Orbix Containers acts as an authorised reseller and supply partner for these manufacturers.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in the currency specified on the quotation or invoice. Prices exclude VAT, customs duties, shipping, delivery, and installation unless otherwise stated in writing.

Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Price changes may occur due to exchange rate fluctuations, steel price movements, or changes in shipping costs.

Standard payment terms are 50% deposit upon order confirmation and 50% balance prior to shipment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept EFT, bank transfer, and letters of credit for international orders.

4. Delivery and Shipping

Delivery timelines are estimates only and are subject to manufacturing lead times, port congestion, shipping schedules, and customs clearance. Orbix Containers will not be liable for delays caused by factors outside our control.

Risk of loss and title to the goods passes to the customer upon collection from our yard or upon loading onto the shipping vessel for export orders.

The customer is responsible for arranging site access, offloading equipment (crane or forklift), and any permits required for the delivery and installation of containers or modular structures.

5. Warranty

New ISO shipping containers are warranted against structural defects for 12 months from delivery. Modular structures and flat-packed container houses from GS Housing Group carry a 20-year structural warranty on the steel frame.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, modification, or exposure to corrosive environments beyond the product's rated specification.

To make a warranty claim, contact info@orbixcontainers.co.za with your order number, product description, and photographic evidence of the defect.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orbix Containers & Structures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant product.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and data, is the property of Orbix Containers & Structures or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

For international orders, where applicable, disputes may be referred to international arbitration under the ICC Rules.
